A MySqlConnection that represents the connection.
Example

In This Topic
    MySqlDataAdapter Constructor(String,MySqlConnection)
    In This Topic
    Initializes a new instance of the MySqlDataAdapter class with a SelectCommand and a MySqlConnection object.
    Syntax
    'Declaration

    Public Function New( _
       ByVal selectCommandText As String, _
       ByVal selectConnection As MySqlConnection _
    )
    public MySqlDataAdapter(
       string selectCommandText,
       MySqlConnection selectConnection
    )

    Parameters

    selectCommandText
    A System.String that contains a SQL SELECT statement to be used as the CommandText of the SelectCommand property of the MySqlDataAdapter.
    selectConnection
    A MySqlConnection that represents the connection.
    Remarks
    This implementation of the MySqlDataAdapter can be useful in an application that must call the Fill method for two or more MySqlDataAdapter objects.
    Example
    The following example creates a MySqlDataAdapter, sets some of its properties, retrieves data from a table, and displays it.
    public void CreateDataAdapter(MySqlConnection myConnection)
    {
      MySqlDataAdapter myAdapter = new MySqlDataAdapter("SELECT DeptNo, DName FROM Test.Dept", myConnection);
      myAdapter.MissingSchemaAction = MissingSchemaAction.AddWithKey;
      DataSet myDataSet = new DataSet();
      myAdapter.Fill(myDataSet,"Dept");
      //Get all data from all tables within the dataset
      foreach(DataTable myTable in myDataSet.Tables)
      {
        foreach(DataRow myRow in myTable.Rows)
        {
          foreach (DataColumn myColumn in myTable.Columns)
          {
            Console.Write(myRow[myColumn]+"\t");
          }
          Console.WriteLine();
        }
        Console.WriteLine();
      }
    }
    Public Sub CreateDataAdapter(ByVal myConnection As MySqlConnection)
      Dim myAdapter As MySqlDataAdapter = New MySqlDataAdapter("SELECT DeptNo, DName FROM Test.Dept", myConnection)
      myAdapter.MissingSchemaAction = MissingSchemaAction.AddWithKey
      Dim myDataSet As DataSet = New DataSet
      myAdapter.Fill(myDataSet, "Dept")
      Dim myTable As DataTable
      Dim myRow As DataRow
      Dim myColumn As DataColumn
      ' Get all data from all tables within the dataset
      For Each myTable In myDataSet.Tables
        For Each myRow In myTable.Rows
          For Each myColumn In myTable.Columns
            Console.Write(myRow(myColumn) & Chr(9))
          Next myColumn
          Console.WriteLine()
        Next myRow
        Console.WriteLine()
      Next myTable
    End Sub
