Thank you for the reply. We will study this problem just after release.

For now, indeed, you should maintain two models and use the POCO template with XML mapping generation and create DataContext as you described in your post.

Can we expect your help in testing such functionality before the Beta version?

Please specify which ORM you use and give a more detailed description of your development scenario. As far as I understood, you are developing one database, then update your model from this database, and then update the second database from the model.

Perhaps the more correct way for us is storing several values of the ServerDataType property. One for each connection.

It seems that this is not a SDAC problem. Could you please try to read data using SQL Server Management Studio.

I could not reproduce the described behavior. Please send us a small sample to reproduce the problem. We can also send you our sample and you will modify it to get the described behavior.

We have reproduced this problem. SDAC does not insert this word. It is inserted by OLEDB provider. There is no problem with Native Client. Now we are investigating this problem. As soon as we get results, we will let you know.

To eduardosic:
Thanks for the sample.

To maciejmt:
The connection lost will be detected on the first database operation. So you should execute any statement and then this event will be raised.

But you should use a seperate connection for each thread. Otherwise you may get unexpected errors.
