Re: Can't add revision to new Review

Is the IN-2861 listed if you run "hg.exe branches" command in your working directory? If so, it is very strange that mercurial can not show revisions for that branch.

The easiest workaround is to remove settings.xml and restart Visual Studio. The folder with Review Assistant settings:
%appdata%\Devart\Review Assistant

Nevertheless, in the next version we will handle such situations and allow to change branch in the dialog.

Re: Can't add revision to new Review

It seems that you specify a nonexistent branch in the dialog:

Unfortunately yes, the only way is to change ProjectId, RepositoryId (repositories should be created for new project) and ReviewRepositoryId in tables:

Re: Configure Review Assistant with Exchange Email Server

Make sure that review participants configure email notification settings.

Note, that you do not receive notifications on your own changes.

Unfortunately we cannot reproduce the issue. Please tell us the version of Review Assistant and exact filter settings you use.

Re: Perforce Line Endings

Review Assistant keeps line endings as is. It just calls Perforce to get file from depot:

Code: Select all

p4.exe -p TCP:YOUR_SERVER:1666 print -o C:\PATH_TO_OUTPUT_FILE //DEPOT/YOURP_ROJECT/YOUR_FILE@REVISION_NO
Maybe, you should use the share option in your workspaces:

Very strange, Review Assistant imports users from the project groups only. So, it seems that both users (with same name) are included into some project groups.

It may be some culture-specific bug. Does the user name contain some non-ASCII chatacter? What regional settings are used on the server and client sides?

Re: High Memory and CPU after version 3

We are still trying to reproduce the memory leak. As a workaround, you can schedule automatic nightly restarting:

1. Open Task Scheduler
2. Create task

3. Specify general options:

4. Add trigger to run task every night:

5. Add action to stop the DevartReviewAssistant service:

6. Add action to start the DevartReviewAssistant service
7. Save the task

Re: Client installation after Server installation

The "Client installation" means Visual Studio integration. In the next build, you will be able to uncheck the "Server" component. In that case, installer cleans server components.

In the next build, the separate installation of the command-line client will be allowed. The build is planned for this week.

Re: High Memory and CPU after version 3

There was a known memory-leak bug in version 2.0, that was fixed in 3.0. We do not encounter this problem ever since.

Please give us as much details as you can, including number of users, approximate number of reviews and comments created per day, network settings (proxy, ssl, etc).

Re: Client installation after Server installation

You can choose "Custom installation" and check the "Command line client" option.
