I posted a new thread in the forum before seeing this thread. I am having an identical issue.
Can you please list all the attributes that a view must have in ordedr to be added by the wizard properly.

No views on the EDMX design surface after Update Model
I have a few views in an oracle database (10g). When I select "Update Model from Database" and try to add these views to the EDMX design surface they are not added. Is there some secret sauce that I should know about?
