Now that dotConnect for Oracle Mobile 5 has been released, which you say has corrected the problem previously posted in this thread, how do I get this update? Using the link and login information emailed to me for previous updates I can only find OraDirect.Net Mobile 4.75.43 and not dotConnect for Oracle Mobile 5.
Thanks.

Error Corelab.Oracle.Vs.OracleDataProviderPackage VS2008
Thanks for replying. Here is what I have checked so far...
When I start VS2005 from an account in the local Administrators group I receive no error.
I've checked and I have access to the GAC and the ..\Program Files\Devart\OraDirect.NET2 Mobile folder using my normal user account. When I check the GAC, I don't see any assemblies for OraDirect.Net, regardless of account. Should I see any assemblies?

Package Load Failure
I receive a similar error when starting VS 2005 SP1 after installing Oradirect.Net Mobile Standard Edition, V4.75.43.1 on XP Professional SP2. The error I receive states:
Package Load Failure
Package 'CoreLab.Oracle.Vs.OracleDataProviderPackage' has failed to load properly ( GUID = {18F9FE6C-9800-FBE0-DF0A-29182AA775C3}). Please contact package vendor for assistance. Application restart is recommended, due to possible enviironment corruption.
This occurs when I open VS 2005 with a non-administrator account. Are there any special permissions needed at the OS level when this package loads?
