I am using SQL Studio Ultimate to connect to an existing SQL Server database I would like to start modeling through the tool, however, I am unable to import the Database Diagrams already created in SQL Server Management Studio.
I would like to know if you have any ways I can import them (maybe copy / paste from the SSMS diagram or import the sysdiagrams table?) to build upon them rather than having to re-create them from scratch?
Import Database Diagrams from SQL Server Management Studio
Re: Import Database Diagrams from SQL Server Management Studio
Hello,
Thanks for the post!
Unfortunately, such feature isn't implemented yet.
It's on the voting https://devart.uservoice.com/forums/177 ... r-diagrams .
You should re-create database diagram by drag-n-dropping objects from the Database Explorer.
Best Regards.
