We've implemented this functionality in the latest Beta build of dotConnect for Oracle 6.0. Beta can be downloaded from
http://www.devart.com/dotconnect/oracle/download.html
(the trial version) or from Registered Users' Area (provided that you have an active subscription):

Thanks a lot!

Still if we haven't had a valid license now how should we proceed?

Several questions:
1. "this functionality" means that it raisean exception?
2. Is this works if free edition of dotConnect? I'll try in Devart.Data.Oracle 6.10.141.0 and there is no such exception.

Also check CoreLab.Oracle version 4.75.43.0 - exception raised

1) dotConnect for Oracle raises the OracleConnection.InfoMessage event for ORA-1403 instead of throwing an exception. The reason is that ORA-1403 may be generated in regular situations as well as when a real error occurs.

2) The InfoMessage event is available in the free Express edition of dotConnect for Oracle.
