PingInterval Property (MySqlConnection)

Gets or sets the interval (in seconds) between pinging MySQL server and reopening the connection if required.

Property Value

The number of seconds to wait for a connection to ping. The default value is 0 seconds.

Remarks

The 0 value indicates that there is no pingign of MySQL server performed. The -1 value indicates that the value of the 'wait_timeout' or 'interactive_timeout' (if using interactive connection) varibale is obtained from the server and is used as timeout.
