Hello,
Which category should I select there? There is no direct category for the comparer products. Would the "dbForge Studio" category the correct one?
Ciao,
Ralf

Re: Schema compare: Format sources before compare
Thanks for the tip.
With the new version, formatting is uniform before comparison. However, I still get some differences when there are extra line feeds in a file.
I will check again if I have set an option incorrectly.

Schema compare: Format sources before compare
Hello,
Wen are comparing a lot of triggers where the only differences come from different formats in the source (additional linefeeds, additional spaces at the end of the line). All these chages are marked as different which makes it very difficult to review the cmparision.
Is it possible to format the sources (on both sides formatting in the same way) to avoid such differences?
I have set the option "Ignore whitespace" in the options but it seems to have no effect.
We are using version 4.2.12 of the software.
Thanks in advance,
Ralf

Schema Compare: Exclude objects by name (mask)
Hello,
Is it possible to exclude objects by name in schema compare?
e.g. all tables with names starting with "TEMP_" should not be compared
Thanks in advance,
Ralf

Schema comparision: Describe only selected object types?
Hello,
When i want to describe e.g. only functions and procedures and start the comparision process, the program starts to describe all objects (tables, views...) before comparing only the selected types. That can take quite a long time.
Is it possible to let the program only describe the seleted types?
Thanks in advance,
Ralf
