Re: SQL Complete - Disable open last session on startup

The main reason I ask is that I have other SSMS Plugins that are setting query editor properties that get blocked because the editor window is being opened from the last session being restored.

Re: SQL Complete - Disable open last session on startup

Yes, thanks. I did read through the documentation as well as searched the forums a good deal.

The answer to my question is not provided in either.

It appears if you have Document Restoration enabled it will always restore your last session when SSMS starts.

I was wanting to confirm that OR find out if there is a way to enable document restoration but NOT load the last session on startup.

Basically, I would like SSMS to startup blank and not have the last session always restored yet I would like the ability to bring up the session history and restore one if needed.

SQL Complete - Disable open last session on startup

Is there a way to disable automatically opening the last session on startup?

I'd like to have the option to restore my last session but not always be forced to.

Thanks
