New to the tool and trying to setup an evaluation environment prior to purchasing 50 licenses for Review Assistant.
The system requirements for Review Assistant don't mention support for Server 2008R2.
Before I build a Windows 7 vm I'd like to get confirmation that Review Assistant will (or will not) work on Server 2008R2 and that it is not necessary to install VS on the Review Assistant server as indicated in the system requirements.
If it is supported on Server 2008R2, are there any special configuration instructions that are not mentioned in the installation guide?
I have tried the install on a Server 2008 R2 machine but the installation/configuration documentation seemed to be a little vague for server installs (just my opinion from someone that has never used this tool before).
Thanks in advance.
Cheers,
Jeff

Re: Windows Server 2008R2 Support?
Thanks for the reply.
I apologize for not being more clear in my original post.
I was inquiring to the OS support for Windows Server 2008R2 (not SQL Server 2008R2).
Will 'review assistant' run on Windows Server 2008R2 (or other server OS)?
Thanks for the clarification on the VS requirement. As you indicated, it was not necessary for VS to be installed on the review assistant server.
Cheers,
Jeff
