Delphi 2009 and Free Pascal Support Available in DACs!
October 01, 2008
Devart Team is glad to present a new Beta version of our DAC products with more
development tools support and extended functionality. In the current version of
DACs Delphi 2009, C++Builder 2009, Free Pascal, and Lazarus are supported.
DACs let you use the latest CodeGear IDEs - Delphi 2009 and C++Builder 2009. Now
DACs users can take advantage of such overhauled features as generics and anonymous
methods, new VCL controls, new DataSnap, and a lot of other enhancements to make
their work more efficient and easy.
Also new DACs come with extended Unicode support, which allows using all abilities
provided by Database Servers for Unicode application development. Moreover, the
Unicode support in Delphi 2007, C++Builder 2007, and CodeGear RAD Studio 2007 was
extended. For example, now you can use Unicode characters in such properties as
SQL, TableName, StoredProcName, and others.
Support of Free Pascal (currently for Win32 only) by our DACs can be successfully
used in cross-platform development. So, if you want to change your application platform,
DACs' Free Pascal support is just for you!
For the Lazarus users we have added packages for installation and fully supported
our powerful design-time editors.
Also the latest DACs will please you with the new Help. We have provided easier-to-use,
enhanced Help with improved structure, index, and design. You will find looking
for answers to the questions that may occur as easy as never before.
