Nov 23, 2011

Devart Team is glad to present new versions of our DAC products. The new release extends the list of the supported OSes.

UniDAC, ODAC, MyDAC, SDAC, PgDAC, and IBDAC support development for Mac OS X and iOS with Delphi XE2 and RAD Studio XE2. Now you can develop database applications, working with the most widely used databases, for Mac OS X and iOS. In particular, you can now work with SQLite that is distributed with Mac OS X and iOS through UniDAC. Here is the complete list of databases, that are supported on these OS's:

  • Oracle
  • MySQL
  • InterBase
  • Firebird
  • PostgreSQL
  • SQLite

Note that Update 2 for RAD Studio XE2, Delphi XE2 and C++Builder XE2 is required to use our DAC products.

New versions of our products now support Lazarus and Free Pascal 2.4.4. We also worked hard to support new OSes with Lazarus. Now you can use our DAC products (except SDAC) to develop applications for the following OS's:

  • Linux x64
  • Mac OS X
  • FreeBSD

You can try the new versions of DACs here:

There is also a new version of VirtualTable at the download page.

If you wish to provide feedback on the new versions, you can do it on our forums or by e-mail. There is also feedback form in the support zone of every product. We are always glad to have your comments and take into account your development needs.
