Refactoring Together with Other Improvements in dbForge Studio for MySQL, v.6.0
April 4, 2013
Devart Team is glad to announce the release of new dbForge Studio for MySQL v6.0.
We stick to the tradition of giving our users the priority of choosing new features. Our close interaction results in the improvements that are really required. One of the most voted-for features in this MySQL management tool release is code refactoring. Implementing it took most time and effort from Devart Team, but it's worth it! Now you can apply changes to your database object names without thinking about updating links to these objects in the whole MySQL database. The application creates an update script, you execute it - and that's all.
The code completion feature in our MySQL management tool was dramatically improved. Up to this version, the application offered quite humble abilities for completing code. But success and usability of our code completion functionality in SQL Server and Oracle products urged us to improve it in dbForge Studio for MySQL. Code Completion functionality now offers extended possibilities and makes writing code easier and more convenient.
