We are looking for a QA Engineer to work with the dbForge Studio products that belong to the line of full-featured IDEs for database development and administration. Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in testing
- Familiarity with the fundamental principles of software development
- Proficiency in working with databases and SQL queries
- Experience in testing desktop applications
- Experience in testing real-life software systems
- Familiarity with version control systems
- Experience with bug-tracking systems
- Ability to work effectively as part of a large team
- Proficiency in working with documentation
- Strong analytical skills with flexible and logical thinking
- Excellent communication skills, attentiveness, responsibility, and activity
Responsibilities
- Thoroughly test newly developed and updated functionalities
- Perform various types of testing: regression, acceptance, usability, etc.
- Write SQL queries for testing purposes
- Develop comprehensive test cases and related documentation
- Automate individual product components
- Research and implement new functionalities to enhance product quality and user experience
Nice to have
- Expertise in deployment and configuration of SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, and PostgreSQL database instances
- Familiarity with various virtualization systems, including VirtualBox and VMware
- Proficiency in programming languages
- Experience with the Linux operating system
- Extensive practical experience with databases
