Your future team of professionals
You will be part of the Mobion product Data & Research team and work with highly motivated professionals who are passionate about the project. You will collaborate with engineers, product managers and analysts.
Your future challenges
Development of new machine learning models, improving the efficiency of business processes, such as demand forecasting and pricing.
Impact you will make
- Data science: Analyze large volumes of data to uncover hidden dependencies and anomalies.
- Deploying models to production: Collaborate with engineers to integrate models into the system.
- Model monitoring and optimization: Continuously monitor model latency and scalability, and implement versioning strategies.
- Working with business teams: Partner with product managers and other stakeholders to incorporate models into decision-making processes.
- A/B testing and model evaluation: Analyze experimental results to drive product improvements.
Skills we are looking for
- 4+ years of experience in data science.
- Proven track record developing ML models for surge pricing, demand forecasting, or similar high-load, real-time prediction systems.
- Experience with time-series, geospatial data, and dynamic pricing algorithms is a strong plus.
- Proficiency in Python (including statistical and ML libraries) and Spark.
- Expert-level knowledge of SQL.
- Solid understanding of mathematical and applied statistics, probability theory, and regression analysis.
- Experience with ML tools such as Kubeflow, MLflow, and ETL pipelines.
- Skilled in data preparation, feature engineering, and model evaluation.
- Familiarity with Git and Gitflow workflows.
- Successful experience delivering data science solutions that improved business outcomes.
- Upper-intermediate or higher English proficiency.
Additional skills we would appreciate
- Familiarity with mobility, logistics, or transportation data and KPIs (ETA predictions, surge pricing, driver utilization).
