About the product

We are looking for a specialist to provide technical support to the dbForge Studio users. dbForge Studio is a full-featured database development and administration environment. The product is popular among relational database developers and administrators, who work with Oracle, MySQL, etc. dbForge Studio comes in handy for performing such complex tasks as designing databases, writing SQL code, comparing databases, synchronizing schemas and data, generating real test data, and more.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in Technical Support or a similar position
  • Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases like Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MySQL
  • Experience with SQL Server Management Studio or other IDEs for working with relational databases
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of working with task managers (Jira, Redmine, and their analogs)
  • Ability to research the functionality of new network protocols
  • English - upper-intermediate or higher

Responsibilities

  • Solving the users' technical issues that might arise while purchasing or working with the product
  • Looking for information on different Devart resources (forum, eSupport, Jira, Confluence) and on the Internet
  • Detecting bugs, writing bug reports, checking fixes
  • Making entries in the revision history of the product
  • Interacting with the development team and management in order to create complete responses to users and to test the products

Nice to have

  • Understanding of written European languages (German, Spanish, Portuguese, French)
  • Any development or testing experience
  • Fluent English
  • Experience in conducting technical demos
