About the product
Data Connectivity Team is looking for a technical writer to work on documentation, articles and press releases, create and optimize content for the website, and research technical issues.
Responsibilities
- Describe the current processes of working with the product
- Systematize and structure product documentation
- Describe new and existing product features
- Write articles and press releases
- Explore the technical challenges involved in content creation
- Create website content (including video content)
- Perform website optimization according to SEO recommendations
- Explore the new product features you need to create content without the help of technical experts
- Work with the bug tracking system according to team standards
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience as a technical writer
- Advanced level of English
- Ability to write, edit, and correct different types of texts
- Understanding of the principles of cross-cultural communication in English-speaking countries and Western Europe
- Ability to deal with unfamiliar databases, operating systems, and other new technologies
- Ability to analyze information from multiple sources and transform it into a single whole
- Working knowledge of stylistic standards for describing software functionality and UI
- Good interviewing skills to gather information about current work processes
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment
- Active listening and feedback-giving skills
- Experience with ClickUp, JIRA and Confluence, Redmine, Mercurial, Zoho
Nice to have
- Good pronunciation and fluency in English
- Technical education
