How we work

We use the following tools to analyze data on the Devart website:

  • Google Analytics as the main analytics system
  • Google Tag Manager to track events and implement marketing tags

In our workflow, we use data uploads in different layers using Google Analytics API. The uploads are stored in Google BigQuery. Also, we use data from the website database to build end-to-end analytics.

Your main duties will include:

  • Setting up and optimizing Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
  • Uploading data to the database
  • Working with end-to-end analytics and attribution models
  • Creating behavioral reports
  • Visualizing data

Requirements

  • Experience in configuring Google Analytics via Google Tag Manager (create events card, work with Enhanced Ecommerce)
  • Experience with JavaScript, HTML/CSS
  • Experience with the GA debugging tools (Google Tag Assistant, GA debugger, WASP, dataslayer and DevTools)
  • Experience in writing complicated SQL queries (MySQL/SQL Server/Google BigQuery)
  • Experience with one of the BI tools (MS Power BI/Tableau/Google Data Studio)
  • Be able to present materials
  • Be capable to argue and explain your point of view

Responsibilities

  • Audit and standardize Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager settings
  • Work with API Google Analytics, collect data for the database using the Python/R programming language
  • Work with databases: Google BigQuery, MySQL, SQL Server
  • Create visualizations in Google Data Studio/MS Power BI
  • Improve the approach to working with the end-to-end analytics and attribution models
  • Create regular insight reports to help teams make data-driven decisions
  • Develop regular reports and process Ad-hoc requests
  • Study users' behavior in order to search for patterns, build and test hypotheses, identify bottlenecks in products

Nice to have

  • Programming skills in Python/R
  • Experience with Google Analytics 4
  • Experience with Firebase
  • Experience with mobile analytics tools
