Re: Only when I'm involved not working

gregotte wrote: Fri 29 Mar 2019 13:53 I think it would be nice to be able to designate members of a project as reviewers so only they would be notified.
It is the default use case. But some team want to remove this strict rule and they sets this option to notify all team members about new review without reviewers. In your case we recommend you to set reviewers for the new review and notifications do not send even if option "Allow creating reviews without pre-defined reviewers" is enabled or you can disable this option.

Review Assistant 4.1 contains changes in the data model. We recommend you to create the backup of your RA database before installing a new version.

Re: Only when I'm involved not working

Hi,

Thank you for reporting the problem. Review Assistant sends notification about new review without reviewers for all project members because all of them can join to review as reviewer. It seems that it is your case. Is option "Allow creating reviews without pre-defined reviewers" enabled in your project http://prntscr.com/n3yzkv ?

Re: Single diff-tool window

Also I would like to remind you, Review Assistant does not close previous comparison tab before opening a new if user modified some of the documents in this tab. This behavior exists in the version 4.0, and has been saved in the new version and works even if new option is enabled. It will be helpful when user compares last/base with working copy before commit. If option "Use single..." is disabled Review Assistant never closes the previous documents.

jessejacob wrote: Wed 27 Mar 2019 17:50 Is this still on schedule? I'm demoing the product at a new company this week and although I really like what you did with 4.0, I think the single comparison window is not going to be liked by many of the devs. I'm using 3.6 for now, unfortunately, but I'd like to show off 4.0 once it has the single window feature as an option.
We plan to publish the new release on Friday. But you can download the Release Candidate version from our pub:
www.devart.com/pub/reviewassistant-R123504.exe
The main features: iterative review for shelvesets in TFS, tracking renamed files, opening Work Item (TFS) in two mode: VS and default browser, option "Use single diff-tool window" in the tab "Options"

seanyberkshire wrote: Tue 26 Feb 2019 05:23 Has this still not been fixed? It's an extremely annoying "feature" to have to review files one at a time, and not be able to view multiple at once for comparison.
This option we be available in nearest release, a tentative date of release would be at the end of March - beginning of April.

Same concern here, we want to implement a review check-in policy, but as it is currently the reviewer must always compare base and last versions, he cannot compare with last commented revision to only see the last increment, such a pain...

Do you plan to support it in a near future ? it will definitely impact the decision if we continue using your tool or not.
Hi. The iterative review for the shelvesets will be available in the next version. We plan to publish the developer preview version this or next week.

1. Setting of the RA project
2. Code Review Board
3. Message with error

Re: Can't add review comment

Hi,

Thank you for reporting the problem. What is the role of user in the review ? What is the status of the review?
Note, if you want to add comment in review you should be a Reviewer or Moderator or Assignee. Status of the review must be 'Rework Needed' or 'Pending' or 'Response Required'.
