Obtaining Access Token - ODBC Driver for Shopify

To obtain the Shopify Access Token, perform the following steps:

1. Enable the Custom App support. To do this, go to your Shopify admin dashboard and click the arrow icon next to Apps at the bottom-left corner of your dashboard. Next, click App and sales channel settings at tne bottom of the menu.

2. In the Settings window, proceed to the Apps and sales channel option.

3. Click the Develop apps button.

4. On the next page you need to confirm developing your app by clicking Allow custom app development.

5. After allowing the custom app development you need to create the application by clicking Create app.

6. Enter and select all requested details: App name, app developer.
7. After creating your app you have to Configure Admin API Scopes.

8. Select All to choose all the scopes for Admin API. Confirm all your changes by clicking Save.

9. Go to the Apps and sales channels section and install your app by clicking Install app at the top right of the main window.
10. In the appeared window click Install to proceed with the installation.

11. Go to the API credentials tab of the Apps and sales channels section and copy your Admin API access token.

12. Using your Shopify store link and Access Token, create a new ODBC connection and test it.
