About the program

The Friends of dbForge program is open to database professionals, industry influencers, creators of content on topics related to databases and data, and active users who would like to review and recommend dbForge tools.

The following participant categories are eligible:

• Microsoft MVPs & Oracle ACEs – certified database professionals with influence in the industry
• Bloggers and influencers – creators of content that is directly related to SQL, database tools, and database DevOps
• dbForge advocates – users who actively review and recommend dbForge tools based on their experience
• Express edition users – individuals exploring the free Express editions of dbForge tools
• New users – individuals who are just getting started with our tools

The program aims to build a community of database professionals who actively explore dbForge products, exchange expertise, and strengthen connections between dbForge and its users. Devart rewards contributors, supporters, and evangelists of dbForge and values their feedback as a resource for continuous product improvement.

Initial rewards include:

• Special reward: A free 1-month subscription to dbForge AI Assistant
• Recognition: A digital Friend of dbForge badge for personal use
• Social media spotlight: Mentions on the official Devart media (in a shared post with other participants)

To get these rewards, publish two social media posts or answers (on Reddit, Quora, LinkedIn, X, Facebook, Stack Overflow, etc.) where you describe how a dbForge product helped you with your project. After that, send us the links to these posts or answers via the welcome email form.

Further rewards include:

• Special reward: A free 3-month subscription to any dbForge product of your choice
• Recognition: Mentions in the Monthly Devart Digest
• Social media spotlight: Promotion of your dbForge-related content on the official Devart media
• Guest posting opportunity: An invitation to publish your posts on the official Devart blog or {coding}Sight

To get these rewards, publish one more blog post (article, use case, review, etc.) on a personal website, Medium, Dev.to, LinkedIn articles, DZone, or another relevant website. Alternatively, you can make a YouTube video, either reviewing a dbForge product or describing how it helped you with a project. Once you publish this content, send us the links to it via the welcome email form.

Accepted content includes articles, videos, and forum posts, as well as answers and mentions on social media, such as Reddit, Quora, LinkedIn, X, Facebook, Stack Overflow, etc.

Rewards are typically granted within 7 days after review.

Yes, you can get new rewards after 3 months of participation in four key time spans: January 15 – April 15, April 15 – July 15, July 15 – October 15, and October 15 – January 15.

If you submit content and it is approved on January 15, your participation in the program will remain active for 3 months until April 15. Once it expires, you can submit new content to reapply and get a reward again.

Note that previously submitted and approved contributions are not eligible for repeated submissions.

You can apply every quarter. The four key time spans are: January 15 – April 15, April 15 – July 15, July 15 – October 15, and October 15 – January 15.

We will contact you via email with a short form. Fill it out with links to your published content and send it back to us. Once it is approved, we will confirm your participation in the program with another email.

Yes, you can join the program. It is open even to new users who are just getting started with our tools.

Participation in the Friends of dbForge program is free.

Each submitted application is received and reviewed by our team. After that, a Devart representative will contact each applicant to provide further information about the next steps of the program and rewards.

Applicants must refrain from spreading false information about dbForge products and promotional campaigns.

The benefits of this program do not stack with the benefits of other discount programs by Devart.
