Connect Denodo to EmailOctopus and access data

Accessing a EmailOctopus database can be fast and seamless with an Open Database Connectivity (ODBC) solution. Devart ODBC Driver for EmailOctopus provides full interoperability and allows you to access live EmailOctopus data. The driver enables you to retrieve, view, and modify EmailOctopus data directly within Denodo.

Step 1. Select the ODBC data source

In Denodo, launch Server and Virtual DataPort Administration Tool. Right-click the database, and go to New > Data Source > ODBC. Select DSN and click Save.

Step 2. Choose a table

To start working with data, you first need to choose the required table. For this, navigate to the Create base view tab, click Create selected. A new tab will open.

Step 3. View EmailOctopus data

To view data of the chosen table, click Execution panel. You will be able to see the requested information on the Query Results tab. You can also save the table by clicking Save.

How to download, install, and configure Devart ODBC Driver for EmailOctopus

Download the driver

Click Download in the upper-right corner of this page. Under Download for Windows, click Download next to the EXE or MSI file or—if you're not signed in—click Get Trial, sign up or sign in to your Devart account, and then click Download next to the needed file.

Run the downloaded installer. Click Next and follow the instructions.

If you don't have an activation key yet, select Trial; if you've already purchased a license, select Activation Key and enter your key. Then, click Next. To complete the driver installation, click Finish.

Open ODBC Data Source Administrator

Click Start on the taskbar, type ODBC Data Sources, and select a matching result. The ODBC Data Source Administrator opens.

Add a data source (DSN)

Go to the User DSN or System DSN tab and click Add. Select the driver and click Finish.

On the General tab, enter a Data Source Name, Description, and other details required to connect to the data source.

Complete the configuration

Click Test Connection to make sure that all details are correct. Then, click OK to save the data source and complete the configuration.
