The Skyvia Team is currently seeking a Technical Writer to join the Skyvia Marketing Team. In this role, you will be responsible for various tasks, such as writing articles and press releases, creating documentation, researching technical issues, and optimizing content for Skyvia's blog and product pages. Skyvia is a versatile no-code cloud platform designed for data integration, backup, management, and connectivity. It offers support for over 160 connectors, including popular cloud applications like CRMs, marketing tools, support systems, and management solutions, as well as databases and data warehouses. We expect our technical copywriters to delve into these topics and produce content that caters to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Responsibilities
- Describe the current processes of working with the product
- Systematize and structure product documentation
- Describe existing and new product features
- Write articles and press releases
- Investigate the technical challenges associated with content creation
- Develop content for the website, including video content
- Optimize website content to meet SEO and marketing requirements
- Familiarize yourself with new product features to independently create content without technical assistance
- Work with the bug tracking system according to team standards
- 3+ years of experience
- Advanced level of English or higher
- Ability to write, edit, and proofread various types of texts
- Understanding of intercultural communication principles in English-speaking countries, Europe, and Ukraine
- Knowledge of databases, operating systems, and other new technologies
- Ability to analyze information from multiple sources and consolidate it into a coherent whole
- Familiarity with stylistic standards for describing software functions and user interfaces
- Strong interviewing skills for gathering information about current work processes
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Effective active listening and feedback skills
- Experience with ClickUp, JIRA and Confluence, Redmine, Mercurial, Zoho
