We are looking for a QA Engineer to work with the dbForge Studio products, which belong to the line of full-featured IDEs for database development and administration. Responsibilities
- Test new and developed functionality
- Write SQL queries
- Create test cases and test documentation
- Automate specific components of the products
- Execute tasks involving researching and implementing new functionality for the product
- Perform regression, acceptance, and functional testing
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience as a QA Engineer
- Understanding of the basic principles of software development
- Experience with databases and constructing SQL queries
- Knowledge of bug tracking systems
- Ability to work with documentation
- Flexible logical thinking
- Communication skills, attentiveness, responsibility, and activity
- Expertise in testing desktop applications
- Competence in working with version control systems
- Proficiency in testing real-life software systems
- Experience collaborating within a large team
Nice to have:
- Ability to deploy and configure SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, and PostgreSQL database instances
- Knowledge of virtualization systems like Virtual Box and VMware
- Experience with the Linux operating system
- Familiarity with programming languages
- Practical skills in working with databases
