Founded in 1997, Devart now has 15 years of experience in developing database tools
and native data access solutions for different database servers with headquarters
situated in Czech Republic and research and development center - in Ukraine.
Devart has more than 40 000 devoted customers. We supply our products to the companies
known worldwide as well as to private individuals, government and educational institutions.

Our Product Lines
Database tools product line includes standalone application
and IDE add-ins for performing database administration tasks, database comparisons,
etc. It includes tools for SQL Server, MySQL, and Oracle.
ADO.NET Data Providers are connectivity solutions built
over ADO.NET architecture and a development framework with a number of innovative
technologies. This product line offers a complete solution for developing database-related
applications and web sites. With state-of-the-art ORM
solutions such as Entity Framework and LinqConnect, dotConnect introduces
new approaches for designing applications and boosts productivity of database application
development.
Data Access Components for Delphi line includes tools for
developing client/server applications in Delphi and C++Builder.
dbExpress Drivers are a database-independent layer that defines
common interface to provide fast access to SQL database servers.
Coding Assistance tools for automating routine
coding tasks such as code reviewing, code comparison, editing code in Visual Studio.
Timeline
1997
ODAC 1.0 Release
Oracle Data Access Components, the first member of the Data Access Components product
line, was the start of our company history.
2002
dotConnect product line launch
dotConnect for MySQL and dotConnect for Oracle were first to open our famous ADO.NET
providers product line.
dbExpress technology support
dbExpress driver for Oracle was our first step to implementing lightweight solutions
that provide access to common database servers.
2005
dbForge for MySQL and dbForge for Oracle product lines introduction
Standalone tools for working with databases on Oracle and MySQL servers were introduced
together with add-ins for Visual Studio and Delphi.
2007
Entity Framework support introduction
We supported this innovative technology in dotConnect for Oracle.
2009
dbForge for SQL Server introduction
We released tools for schema and data comparison dbForge Schema Compare for SQL
Server and dbForge Data Compare for SQL Server.
2010
General-purpose development tools introduction
With the release of Code Compare we introduced new development direction tools
for working with code.
