New versions of SecureBridge, EntityDAC, and dbExpress drivers are out. All three now work with RAD Studio 13 Florence Release 2 and offer improved support for the Arm64EC target platform. Devart dbExpress drivers also add support for Microsoft SQL Server 2025 and MySQL 9.7, while SecureBridge gains SFTP upload resume, multipart/form-data support, and a new SSL/TLS demo.
In this release
SecureBridge 12.1.0
SecureBridge brings improvements to IDE and platform support, file transfers, HTTP requests, and secure connections, including:
- Support for RAD Studio 13 Florence Release 2.
- Support for Lazarus 4.8.
- Improved support for the Arm64EC target platform.
- Resume mode in the
TScSFTPClientupload methods: an interrupted SFTP upload now continues from where it stopped instead of starting over, which saves time and traffic on unstable connections. - New
FixOpenSSHparameter in theTScSFTPClient.CreateLinkmethod as a workaround for an OpenSSH Server issue. - New
TScHttpMultipartDataclasses to support themultipart/form-dataformat so that you can send files and form data to web servers and REST APIs without third-party libraries. - New HTTP server shutdown method in the
TScOAuth2component, so the built-in server used for OAuth 2.0 authorization can be stopped from code and leaves no open ports. - New demo for the
TScSSLClientandTScSSLServercomponents that shows secure SSL/TLS data exchange between a client and a server. - Improved Ed25519 key generation to ensure compatibility with SSH and TLS servers.

EntityDAC 4.1.0
EntityDAC works with RAD Studio 13 Florence Release 2 out of the box. You can switch to the new IDE update right away, with no need to wait for a library update or put your existing projects at risk.
Support for the Arm64EC target platform has also been improved based on user feedback. Native applications for Windows on ARM devices built with EntityDAC now work faster and more reliably, with no Intel emulation layer in between.

dbExpress drivers
All dbExpress drivers are now compatible with RAD Studio 13 Florence Release 2 and offer improved support for the Arm64EC target platform. Two of the drivers—dbExpress Driver for Oracle 8.5.0 and dbExpress Driver for SQLite 5.5.0—include these compatibility updates only. The other drivers also get their own improvements, described below.
dbExpress Driver for InterBase and Firebird 6.5.0
This release introduces two improvements to connection and transaction settings:
TrustedAuthentication– A new option that lets you connect to Firebird with a Windows account, so there’s no need to store a password in the connection string or configuration files.WAITandLockTimeout– Improved support that lets a transaction wait for a locked record, fail immediately, or wait a set number of seconds on a lock conflict.
dbExpress Driver for MySQL 8.5.0
The driver now works with MySQL 9.7, so you can use the newest MySQL version right after its release without changing tools.
Support for the gssapi authentication plugin is also improved: you can reliably sign in with a domain account through Kerberos and manage access centrally via Active Directory.
dbExpress Driver for PostgreSQL 5.9.0
The driver now supports the pv32 protocol, which corresponds to PostgreSQL protocol version 3.2. If the server supports this protocol, the driver connects through it automatically. This way, your applications stay compatible with modern PostgreSQL servers without extra configuration or code changes.
dbExpress Driver for SQL Server 9.6.0
The driver now supports Microsoft SQL Server 2025, so you can move to the newest server version without changing your application code. You get all the benefits of the new platform and keep the familiar dbExpress architecture in Delphi and C++Builder.
